# AML & CFT Policy

### 1. Introduction

Enexfi is committed to preventing money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT). This policy outlines our comprehensive approach to detecting, preventing, and reporting suspicious activities in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

### 2. Our Commitment

Enexfi maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards money laundering and terrorist financing. We are committed to:

* Compliance with all applicable AML/CFT laws and regulations
* Detection and prevention of suspicious transactions
* Timely reporting of suspicious activities to relevant authorities
* Regular training of staff on AML/CFT procedures
* Ongoing review and enhancement of our AML/CFT framework

### 3. Know Your Customer (KYC) Requirements

To comply with AML/CFT regulations, we require all users to complete identity verification. Our KYC process includes:

* Identity verification using government-issued identification
* Address verification through utility bills or bank statements
* Source of funds verification for significant transactions
* Ongoing monitoring of user accounts and transactions
* Enhanced due diligence for high-risk customers

Users who fail to complete KYC verification may have their accounts restricted or suspended until verification is completed.

### 4. Transaction Monitoring

We employ automated and manual monitoring systems to detect suspicious activities, including:

* Unusual transaction patterns or volumes
* Rapid movement of funds without clear purpose
* Structuring transactions to avoid reporting thresholds
* Transactions involving sanctioned individuals or entities
* Transactions involving Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs)
* High-risk jurisdictions or countries

### 5. Suspicious Activity Reporting

When we identify suspicious activities, we will:

* Conduct thorough investigation of the activity
* File Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) with relevant authorities
* Freeze or restrict accounts if necessary
* Cooperate fully with law enforcement and regulatory bodies
* Maintain confidentiality of reports as required by law

Users will not be notified when a SAR is filed, as this could compromise the investigation.

### 6. Sanctions Screening

Enexfi screens all users and transactions against international sanctions lists, including:

* United Nations sanctions lists
* US Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctions
* European Union sanctions lists
* Other relevant national and international sanctions

We prohibit transactions with individuals, entities, or countries subject to sanctions. Accounts found to be in violation will be immediately closed.

### 7. Record Keeping

We maintain comprehensive records of all transactions and customer information, including:

* Identity verification documents
* Transaction records and history
* Customer communications and correspondence
* Suspicious activity reports and investigations
* Records are retained for a minimum of 5 years as required by law

### 8. User Obligations

Users are required to:

* Provide accurate and complete information during registration and verification
* Update information promptly when it changes
* Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
* Report any suspicious activities they observe
* Not use the platform for illegal purposes or money laundering
* Cooperate with our compliance and investigation processes

### 9. Consequences of Non-Compliance

Failure to comply with AML/CFT requirements may result in:

* Account restrictions or limitations
* Account suspension or closure
* Transaction rejection or reversal
* Reporting to law enforcement authorities
* Legal action and prosecution
